1 Overview
CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN TẬP ĐOÀN MEEY LAND ("we," "us," or "our") operates Meeyland Agent, a Chrome extension that automates posting and engagement actions inside Facebook Groups on behalf of a user who has configured it, using that user's own logged-in Facebook session.
This policy explains what data the extension reads from your browser, what it sends to our servers, why, and the choices you have. It is written to satisfy the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy's disclosure requirements as well as to inform end users directly.
2 Information we collect
2.1 Facebook account identifier
The extension reads the c_user cookie from facebook.com — a numeric ID Facebook itself sets to mark which account is logged in. We do not read your password or your full authentication cookie (e.g. xs, fr). This ID is sent to our backend so it can route commands and campaigns to the correct account.
2.2 Facebook profile information
When you connect an account, we sync its public display name and profile picture URL so you can tell accounts apart in the Meeyland dashboard.
2.3 Facebook Group information
For groups you visit or select, we sync the group's ID, name, URL, avatar, and the time you last visited it, so you can choose which groups a campaign should post into.
2.4 Session and connection status
We store whether your Facebook session currently appears valid, the extension's version number, and whether your browser is currently online — used only to show accurate status and to warn you when a re-login is needed.
2.5 Local campaign state
Daily posting counters, pacing limits, and campaign locks are stored locally on your device using the browser's extension storage. This data enforces safety limits and is not itself Facebook account content.
2.6 Device authentication token
A device token issued to the extension when you connect it to your Meey Push account authenticates it to our backend. It functions like an API key for the extension, not a Facebook credential.
3 What we do not collect
- Your Facebook password or full session/authentication cookies
- Private messages or the content of other users' posts
- Payment or financial information
- Browsing activity outside facebook.com, web.facebook.com, and our own service
- Data from any site other than the Facebook domains the extension is scoped to
4 Why the extension needs each permission

5 How we use your information
- Identify which Facebook account a browser is currently signed into
- Route commands and scheduled campaigns to the right account
- Let you choose which of your groups a campaign posts to
- Enforce the daily posting caps and pacing you or your organization set
- Resume a campaign automatically if it was interrupted by a browser restart
- Show accurate account and connection status inside the Meeyland dashboard
We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles beyond what is needed to operate the accounts you have explicitly connected.
7 Storage, security & retention
Campaign pacing state stays on your device via the browser's local extension storage and is removed when you uninstall the extension. Account and group information described in Section 2 is stored on our servers, transmitted over HTTPS, and authenticated with your device token.
We retain this data for as long as your account remains connected, and delete it within 30 days of your request or of disconnecting the account (see Section 8).
8 Your choices and rights
Disconnect an account
Remove a Facebook account from the extension at any time to stop it acting on that account.
Delete your data
Contact us (Section 11) to request deletion of the account and group data we hold for you.
Uninstall
Removing the extension deletes all locally stored campaign state immediately.
Revoke cookie/tab access
Disabling the extension in chrome://extensions stops all reading of Facebook cookies and tabs.
9 Children's privacy
Meeyland Agent is a business tool for managing Facebook Group marketing and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10 Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you through the extension or the Meeyland dashboard.
